Join Us NowDebenham Young Farmers
Debenham YFC meet at Saxtead Millhouse around 8pm each Wednesday unless other events are organised.
We have approximately 30 members, meeting from September through to July, with August quiet due to harvest.
You don’t have to be a farmer to join the Young Farmers!
Suffolk Young Farmers Clubs are part of a national organisation of approximately 20,000 members. We currently have 9 clubs operating throughout Suffolk, with our junior clubs catering to the 10-16 age range and our senior clubs, the 16 – 30 age range.
Want to get involved in a club that’s run by people just like you? Want to have a laugh and meet lots of new friends? Want to put something back into the community and feel good about yourself and your achievements? Want to learn some new things and find some new challenges? If you answered yes to any of those questions, read on!
YFC gives you a chance to do all of those things and lots more, too. It’s run by its members for its members and that means you really can have your say and make a difference to yourself and others. Life in YFC is always fun – it doesn’t matter if you just interested in the social side of club life or want to get involved in community and environmental issues – it’s all about meeting new friends and enjoying yourself.
There’s no set agenda, activities vary from club to club, but we can guarantee that you’ll have the chance to do all the things you want to do through the national activities programme. Some clubs focus more on the social side of life, others have a strong community focus. It’s up to each club’s members to decide what they are all about and what they enjoy doing – it’s a team thing!
